Application Guide
Everything you need to apply your RaceTrack HTV decal perfectly — whether you're using a household iron or a heat press.
Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) is a specialty vinyl used to create decals that bond to fabric using heat and pressure. Unlike adhesive stickers, HTV becomes part of the garment — it's flexible, durable, and designed to survive regular washing. Our decals are precision-cut from premium HTV and come on a clear carrier sheet that holds the design in place during application, then peels away once bonded.
Ensure the fabric is clean, dry and free from wrinkles. Pre-iron the area to remove moisture.
Place the decal on your garment with the clear carrier sheet facing up. The shiny side goes up.
Iron on a firm, even pressure at the recommended temperature for your fabric. No steam.
Allow to cool for 10 seconds, then peel the carrier sheet slowly from one corner.
For extra durability, cover with a thin cloth and re-press for 5 seconds.
